The artificial intelligence expert at the University of Hohenheim discusses the topics of food production and innovation with Stefan Fak. “AI allows us to adapt recipes to individual taste preferences and nutritional needs,” says Prof. Krupitzer. “This opens up completely new possibilities for personalized nutrition.”
The final episode on September 6th is dedicated to the topic of “AI in the supermarket”. Stefan Fak and Lisa Kreuzkamp explore how AI is changing the shopping experience, from AI-driven robots to automated checkouts. “The future of shopping will be more efficient, more personalized and more sustainable,” predicts Lisa Kreuzkamp.

About the guests of the AI topic focus
Prof. Dr. Christian Krupitzer is a German computer scientist and currently tenure-track professor of food informatics at the University of Hohenheim. He heads the food informatics department at the Institute of Food Science and Biotechnology. Krupitzer has written over 30 scientific publications and has received several awards, including scholarships from the DAAD and the Julius Paul Stiegler Memorial Foundation.
Lisa Sophie Kreuzkamp is Head of Marketing & E-Commerce Lotao, combining her expertise in brand management with a passion for AI innovations in the food industry. After studying media and brand management, she started at the Zertus Group in 2020, where she successfully drove strategic brand development as a project manager and launched several brands. Since 2023, she has headed marketing and e-commerce at the young food company Lotao.
