Planetary Health Conference. Climate and health in dialogue.

Under the motto “Climate and Health in Dialogue”, the Health & Social Affairs of the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences will first organize the “Planetary Health Conference” in September 2025. The event takes place from 17-19. September 2025 on Campus Pinkafeld.

Die Pre conference is dedicated to the topic “Health promotion in (climate) change-on the way to ecosocial transformation“And takes place as part of the annual meeting of the Health Promotion DACH network.

Die Main conference „Planetary Health Konferenz“, Which takes place from September 18-19, 2025, focuses on climate-sensitive training, further and advanced training of health professions and shows ways to a climate-based health and education system.

The conference serves as a platform to strengthen awareness and to initiate a transformation as well as dissemination for climate competent action in a sustainable health system. The integration of health-related climate competence into the training, further and further education of health professions as well as the future of a climate silver military health system are discussed and dissemination approaches for the Planetary Health Charter 2030 are shown.

The event offers a future -oriented forum For representatives of the health professions, experts, practitioners from the areas of health discovery and climate as well as teachers of the health professions.

Focus:

Strengthen awareness of climate competent action in healthcare
Transformation into the climate-sensitive training, further and further training of health professions
Dissemination of Planetary Health Charter 2030 for a climate -based health system
