September 17th is World Patient Safety Day. This is the occasion for a press conference for leading experts and AUSTROMED, the interest group for medical device companies. Prof. Dr. Ojan Assadian, MSc, DTMH, Medical Director of the Wiener Neustadt State Hospital, Dr. Brigitte Ettl, former Medical Director of the Hietzing Clinic and President of the Austrian Patient Safety Platform, and Assoc. Prof. in PD. in DI. in Dr. in Miranda Suchomel, President of the Austrian Society for Hygiene, Microbiology and Preventive Medicine (ÖGHMP), will present the demands next Monday, September 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Concordia press club they want to see implemented in the future intergovernmental agreement on hygiene.
