Pianist Wu Muye appeared in two important concert halls in Europe within 48 hours and presented a demanding Liszt program. On the 14th he played in the Victoria Music Hall in Geneva and on Sunday evening in the Vienna Music Association. The program comprised 24 works, including the twelve large Etudes, three concert south, the Etüde AngerTwo concert pieces and a Paganini Ede – a rare compilation that showed Liszt’s technical and artistic complexity.
The concerts convinced with perfection and emotional depth. In Geneva he delighted with fine nuances, in Vienna he created an almost orchestral sound. Critics praised his attack technology and endurance – around 120,000 key beats per performance.
WU started his musical training at the age of four and studied in Paris under Jacques Rouvier. As the first Chinese pianist, he was recognized by the French Ministry of Culture as a “perfect piano artist”. ForbesIt is one of the most successful classic artists.
“The atmosphere was legendary, the audience lively,” said Wu. Further concert dates will soon be announced by the Yulele management.
