In November 2024, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) announced that Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) was re-accredited by the AACSB for a maximum period of five years.
The AACSB peer review team conducted an on-site re-evaluation of the PHBS in June. In 17 detailed discussions with the school management, the vision and mission of the school, strategic development, teaching and research, the development of the teaching staff, the promotion of talent, human resources management, social responsibility and the impact of the school were discussed in detail taken the magnifying glass. In addition, they conducted interviews with program directors, faculty members, students, alumni, and employers to obtain a holistic picture of their reviews and recommendations for the school and its various programs. The review team acknowledged the remarkable progress that PHBS has made in recent years, noting that the school has world-class teaching facilities and impressive achievements in academic research, internationalization, labor market competitiveness and other areas has achieved. At the same time, they also made suggestions for the sustainable development of the school in the future.
In May 2024, the Association of MBAs (AMBA) also confirmed in a letter that the PHBS had been accredited again for a maximum period of 5 years.
