The third scientific conference of the innovation network NEFI-New Energy for Industry Museumsquartier Vienna will take place next week. The NEFI experts discuss with high-level representatives from industry, research and politics which solutions and technologies can contribute to the success of industrial transformation.
International keynotes up to the innovation catalyst NEFI+
Melanie Jans-Singh, for example, explains how Great Britain is positioning itself in international cooperation for industrial decarbonization. Reinhard Oswald provides insights into how an international energy company deals with the topics of renewable gases, CO2 storage and new infrastructure. Johanna Mossberg outlines how international networks can advance the development and breakthrough of “breakthrough technologies”.
The new one acts as a catalyst for the development of projects for the transformation of the industry Innovation laboratory NEFI+. As part of the conference, the NEFI experts will present and discuss the topics of the six innovation hubs in scientific sessions. The key areas are electrification and energy efficiency, flexibility, CO2-neutral gases and hydrogen, carbon capture & storage, circular economy and industrial symbiosis.
In the NEFI Technology Talks Participants can expect practical discussions about challenges in the paper industry and innovative direct current applications in the Austrian DC Pilot Factory.
Die Panel discussion The conference rounds off with representatives from the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, K1-MET GmbH, Energie Steiermark AG, the INNIO Group and the Net-Zero Industries Mission.
