“Pandemie contract endangers state sovereignty in health policy”
Vienna (OTS) –

“The FPÖ decidedly rejects the planned pandemic contract, because it represents a serious threat to the health -political sovereignty of the nation states. Each country must be able to decide on measures in the health sector – especially in times of crisis. Paternation by the WHO is neither necessary nor acceptable,” said Hauser on the occasion of the fundamental pandemic contract.

Hauser was critical of the role of the World Health Organization: “The WHO is increasingly developing from a health organization to a lobby platform of the pharmaceutical industry. We will not participate in this,” said Hauser, who at the same time announced a determined resistance of the FPÖ against the contract.

“The WHO is not a democratically legitimized institution and is financed by around 80 percent by private donations. Under these conditions, independence is simply not given. Those who pay-that was already clearly visible during the Corona pandemic. There is no longer any repetition of this abuse of power,” emphasized Hauser.

Instead of a centralistic contract at the international level, Hauser calls for an honest examination of the Corona policy of the past few years. “A comprehensive and transparent processing of the numerous mistakes during pandemic is finally needed. Topics such as the – brought down by civil society and freedom – the role of politics and science and the effects of private influence on public health policy must be relentlessly discussed,” emphasized Hauser.
