ÖVP reveals our farmers on Brussels! “

ÖVP reveals our farmers on Brussels! “
Vienna (OTS) –

FPÖ Federal Councilor Thomas Karacony described the current agricultural policy of the ÖVP and the EU as “organized betrayal of the domestic farmers’ families”. The Austrian farmers stand with their backs to the wall, while those responsible in Vienna and Brussels operate their sale.

“The grain prices and producer prices fall into the bottom, while tons of cheap goods from Ukraine are still carted into our markets. This is nothing more than the sale of domestic agriculture-organized by the EU Commission and approved by the ÖVP, which is still called farm party, but actually has long since become a truth!” Karacony criticized.

The FPÖ Federal Council was particularly outraged about the realistic statements by ex-EU Commissioner Franz Fischler: “As if that weren’t enough, ex-EU Commissioner Franz Fischler speaks and mocks the farmers. Anyone who claims that a 50-hectare maker is only busy 30 days a year, or has deliberately lost the tough work of our farmers. Are a shame and a slap in the face of all the day after day for our diet and the care of our cultural landscape.

The truth is clear, says Karacony: “Nothing works without farmers. Without our work, there is no safe food, no cultivated cultural landscape, not a rural area. We are the backbone of the country – and yet we are treated by the rulers in Vienna and Brussels like peasant victims on the chess board of the globalists.”

In conclusion, Karacony made unmistakable demands: “We are no longer freedom of playing this game. We demand an immediate stop of the cheap imports from Ukraine and, above all, one thing: respect for the life’s performance of our farmers. One thing is certain: without farmers it is not possible – and without farmers there is no future for Austria!”
