St. Pölten (ots) –

Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner warmly congratulates the Lower Austrian participants of the Euroskills 2025 in Herning. “With their impressive achievements, our young specialists have shown that teaching in Lower Austria is not a second class educational path, but a real success story. Lower Austria is not rich in raw materials-our wealth is the talents, the strength and passion of our apprentices and trainers,” said Mikl-Leitner.

From September 9th to 13th, around 600 young forces from 32 countries started in 38 professions in Herning/Denmark. Lower Austria was represented with eight participants. A total of 44 Austrian participants competed on three competition days to compete with the European best specialists.

The Lower Austrian successes at an overview: Gold medal concrete construction: Lukas Miedler (Horn, Habau), gold medal tiler: Sara Sinhuber (Rastenfeld, Tiles and Stoves Reiter, Gföhl), Medaillon for Excellence hairdresser: Carina Kern (Kilb, Brigitte Neu Amonged, Oberndorf on Milk) and medallion for Excellence Carpentry technology: Udo Gnadenberger (Ziersdorf, carpentry and furniture store Grünzweig)
