Vienna (OTS) – The TV program “Advent in Vorarlberg” takes viewers on a musical and contemplative journey through the Klostertal. At the Klostertal Museum in Wald am Arlberg, presenter Martina Köberle welcomes one of the most famous Klostertalers, the former bandleader of the “Klostertaler” Markus Wolfahrt. Here, two divers from the Vorarlberg water rescue team talk about their difficult missions and a very special Christmas tradition:
Every year they sink a decorated Christmas tree into Lake Constance – as a thank you for the successful missions of the previous year. The ensemble “Brozer Projekt Musig” and the brass ensemble of the Vorarlberg Military Music take part musically.
Ritual companion Lilo Amann-Schwarz gives insights into how she smokes Advent wreaths and candles – a ritual custom that is intended to ensure peace in the house. One of Vorarlberg’s best choirs, the Feldkirch Chamber Choir, presents its songs in the newly renovated Dalaas parish church. The program also accompanies the soloists of the “Musica Sacra” association on the Klostertaler’s local mountain, the Sonnenkopf. On the Muttjöchle they sing the song “The Savior is Born”. Martina Köberle is also a guest at Kalbelesee on Hochtannberg. There she goes on a husky tour around the lake with dog trainer Marc.
