Markus Reisenhofer from Güssing wins the main prize with the first key drawn
Eisenstadt (OTS) – The big “Radio Burgenland Musikmärz” finale was on the program on Friday, March 15, 2024. The main prize, a Citroën C3, was raffled off under notary supervision. A total of ten daily winners were eligible to take part and were able to sing the three words they were looking for from an Austropop hit. The first car key was tried and it started the car straight away. Markus Reisenhofer from Güssing, who was also the winner of the “Music March” on the first day, is also the lucky winner of the main prize and can look forward to the new car.
Under the motto “Austropop meets cabaret”, Austrian music and cabaret greats met in “Guten Morgen Burgenland” from March 1st to 15th, 2024. There were once again special encounters, funny but also profound conversations and, above all, unique, exclusive music recordings of songs that had never been interpreted in this way before.

This year “Wiener Blond” & Klaus Eckel, Stefanie Werger & Viktor Gernot, “Alle Statt” & Caroline Athanasiadis, Christopher Seiler & Fifi Pissecker, Reinhold Bilgeri & Gregor Seberg, Marianne Mendt & Wolf Bachofner, Birgit Denk & Robert Palfrader, Eva Maria Marold, Ulli Bäer & Andy Baum, Andreas Gabalier & Alex Kristan, Peter Cornelius & Erwin Steinhauer as well as Gary Lux & Herbert Steinböck refined this year’s “Radio Burgenland Musikmärz”.
