Vienna (OTS) – The most remote places on earth are also their home
like the local natural paradises. Whether the tropical rainforest
Amazon, the icy expanses of Siberia, the rocky flanks of the
local Alps or the mysterious depths of the oceans – around the
Nature and wildlife in its most spectacular way
is the responsibility of the “universe” filmmakers
no challenge too big. They often work on one for years
Film to capture all the fascinating animal and landscape shots
to capture millions of people for almost four decades now
not only in Austria, but all over the world.
First broadcast in 1987, “Universum” is still one of the most popular today
ORF’s most popular programs. But: How do they do it?
Nature filmmakers: actually what? Not only this question will
asked them again and again! Answers to them or insights into them
Austria’s nature film professionals are currently providing work – they are putting themselves forward
the questions from students in the ORF state studios and
arouse great interest among young audiences.
First up was Franz Hafner (including “Russia’s Wild Sea”, “The
Siberian Tigers”) on Friday, June 21, 2024, in the state studio
Upper Austria. On Monday, June 24th, Harald Pokieser (including
a. “Lake Tanganyka”, “Colombia – Paradise Unleashed”) that

“Wildnis 2.0”, “Wildes Innsbruck”) was in the state studio on June 24th
Tyrol is a guest and will be in the state studio today, Thursday, June 27th
Vorarlberg take a look behind the scenes of “Universum”. And on
Monday, July 1st, Christine Sonvilla and Marc Graf (among others
“Wild Slovenia”, “Croatia’s Coast”) as guests in the state studio
