Eisenstadt (OTS) – On Whit Monday, May 20, 2024, ORF Burgenland will broadcast the Protestant service from the Oberschützen parish church as well as the subsequent Agape on the occasion of the anniversary “100 Years of Superintendence Burgenland”. The live broadcast can be heard on all ORF regional radio stations from 10 a.m. and can be seen on television on ORF 2/B and ORF III from 9:50 a.m. The festive service can also be followed via live stream on the ORF-TVThek or via religion.ORF.at.

The broadcast on television (ORF 2/B and ORF III) begins at 9:50 a.m. ORF Burgenland presenter Raphaela Pint welcomes the audience on the occasion of the anniversary and takes a brief look back at the history of the Protestant Church in Burgenland.
Live TV broadcast on ORF 2/B and ORF III from Oberschützen
From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., ORF will broadcast the festival service live from the Protestant church in Oberschützen. Numerous guests are expected, including the Protestant bishop Michael Chalupka, diocesan bishop Ägidius Zsifkovics, superintendent Robert Jonischkeit, superintendent curator Christa Grabenhofer and state parliament president Robert Hergovich as representative of the state of Burgenland. Following the celebratory service, the anniversary will be celebrated in front of the church as part of an agape. Accompanied by musical accompaniment, ORF Burgenland presenter Raphaela Pint will lead through the program and will ask some of the festival guests to interview. The TV broadcast on ORF 2/B and ORF III ends at around 11.30 a.m.
