General Director Weißmann: “Awards stand for careful, professional work by ORF journalists”
Vienna (OTS) – In 2023, the industry magazine “Österreichs Journalist:in” carried out the traditional election of “Journalists of the Year” and once again the ORF journalists did excellently: For the twelfth time, the ORF was named “Editorial Department of the Year” award. ORF journalists have also achieved top rankings in numerous other specialist categories. ORF correspondent Tim Cupal has been voted “Journalist of the Year”.
ORF General Director Mag. Roland Weißmann: “I warmly congratulate all of the award winners and would like to thank them for their achievements last year. It makes me proud that so many ORF journalists are in the top rankings again in 2023 and that the ORF has been named ‘Editor of the Year’ for the twelfth time. Tim Cupal as Journalist of the Year represents the careful, professional work of ORF journalists who do their best to offer their audience reliable and trustworthy information.”
