Opening ceremony of the Graz-West initial outpatient clinic

The initial supply outpatient clinic (EVA) Graz -West was launched in order to meet the increasing requirements in the hospital samples of the UKH Styria – location Graz and the LKH Graz II location West.

So far, numerous treatments have been carried out there, which would also be possible in the resident area with the same quality. In the Eva now upstream, patients are cared for: on the inside and forwarded to the right places if necessary. On Wednesday, the Eva Graz-West was officially opened as part of a celebration.

The range of services of the EVA includes general medical acute care, expanded by laboratory and radiological diagnostics. This enables comprehensive primary care for everyone who is looking for medical help without an appointment but do not require hospital medical treatment.

The Eva is housed in UKH Styria – Graz location of the Auva. The corresponding adaptation work was carried out in November and December 2024. The Health Fund Styria provided an investment funding of EUR 195,000.

The test operation started in December 2024 and was switched to full operation on January 7, 2025. Since the commissioning of the EVA, over 2,400 patients have been treated on the inside.

The Eva is open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The general practitioners who work independently can register for the services in the EVA via an electronic platform of the health care GmbH (GVG) and are supported by two ordination assistants.

Nursing staff from AUVA and Kages ensures an optimal distribution of the patient: inside between the EVA and the hospital legacies.
