Filming of six episodes with, among others, Stadlober, Aulitzky, Moretti, Metelka, Windisch, Waldner and Obonya
Vienna (OTS) – On average, how many people are directly or indirectly affected if someone has a fatal accident? According to a study, there are 113 people whose lives are forever influenced and changed by a single event. The series “Hundred Thirteen” (AT), which has been filming in Vienna (including Freudenau power plant, central cemetery, Westbahnhof, Ankerbrotfabrik), Cologne and Berlin since the end of June 2024, turns this statistical value into a fateful number and tells the example of the different lives of six people , linked together by a catastrophic traffic accident. Directed by Rick Ostermann and based on scripts by Arndt Stüwe, the film stars Robert Stadlober, Patricia Aulitzky, Antonia Moretti, Maeve Metelka, Harald Windisch, Julian Waldner, Cornelius Obonya, Lia von Blarer, Anna Schudt, Armin Rohde and Max von der Groeben the camera. The six-part series, which is expected to be filmed until mid-October, will be shown on ORF 1 and ORF ON in 2025.
More about the content:
A coach veers into the oncoming lane of an inner-city, multi-lane elevated highway, cutting a path of destruction through oncoming traffic. A split second can change everything in an instant, just because these people were in the wrong place at the wrong time. But not only catastrophic things arise from disasters. It can also be a chance for something new, something unexpectedly good.
The multi-level series follows the trio of investigators (Lia von Blarer, Robert Stadlober, David Hugo Schmitz) in their search for the cause of the accident and the fate of the bus driver’s (Felix Kramer) relatives (Anna Schudt, Patricia Aulitzky). Each episode also focuses on a main character affected by the accident (Armin Rohde, Friederike Becht, Max von der Groeben, Vladimir Korneev, Cornelius Obonya, Antonia Moretti), whose personal story is told anthologically. This results in a multi-perspective picture of the bus accident and its far-reaching consequences, which turns the traffic accident into a parable of the incalculable life.
“Hundred Thirteen” (AT) is a production by Windlight Pictures and Satel Film in co-production with ORF, WDR and ARD Degeto Film for ARD. “Hundred Thirteen” (AT) is supported by FISA+, the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg, Nordmedia and the German Motion Picture Fund.
