What is the question of why the German film hardly brings anything except crime series. Is it a special hearing of the authority that ensures that stories only find an audience when people are fed to punishment? Does it create a feeling of relief that in the end others are worse than one in the job or training position?
In any case, the crime scenes and police calls have something from a daily upbringing to the “moral panic”: crime lurks everywhere; It can only be kept in chess if as many uniformed people as possible populate the streets. Personally, I would be interested in a theory that explains the demise of socialism with its lack of police criticism. And not limited to the Stasi, but fundamentally: The socialist countries have broken by the fact that they did not focus on the self-organization of communities, but on state control and disciplinary institutions. Learn from the Abolitionists: Less money for the police is more money for apartments, education and health.
When I saw the extras recently at the “ND” in the stairwell, it was definitely on my lips briefly: “Nobody is forced to play a police officer.”
