At the ÖBB Annual General Meeting today, Friday, the new members of the ÖBB Holding supervisory board were appointed. This became necessary because the period of function of the previous supervisory board automatically expires with the ordinary general meeting, which took place today, after five years. The eight capital representatives: Inside the newly occupied committee convince with proven management competence. Some have been reordered in their function, but there are also new names and faces. Here are the newly ordered women and men in alphabetical order:
Confirmed and thus extended Elfriede Baumann. She is a former partner and managing director of the consultant Ernst&Young and chairwoman of the foundation board TU Wien Foundation.
Cornelia Breuß The committee is preserved that she is the head of section in the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure, responsible for mobility.
Also Brigitte oeder was ordered back to the committee. So far she has held chair of the Supervisory Board. She is the public as a long -time general director of Siemens Austria a term.
The board of the non-profit housing and real estate company bush, Mathias Moseris newly appointed to the ÖBB Supervisory Board.
Also the Swiss manager Nicolas Perrin move into the ÖBB control committee for the first time. He has been working in various functions at SBB since 1987, currently a member of the board of directors Sbb cargo.
The CEO of the packaging manufacturer Greiner Packaging, Beatrice Masteris also new to the supervisory board of the ÖBB Holding.
With Gerhard Starsich is another new face, he is general director and member of the board of the Coin Austria AG.
The ÖBB committee completes Peter Walder-Wintersteinerhe heads the cabinet in the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure and is considered a proven expert in railway law.

The ÖBB works council can send up to four members.
In the coming weeks, the first, constituent meeting of the Supervisory Board will take place in which the Presidium is elected. The control body’s functional period runs for five years.
