Closures and obstructions after storm in Styria
Vienna (OTS) – The wave of return trips towards Germany was particularly noticeable in Salzburg on the Tauern Autobahn (A10) in the construction site area betweenwerfen and Golling, reported the traffic experts from the ÖAMTC mobility information. The main traffic in Tyrol was the Fernpass Road (B179), where there were longer delays in both directions.
In Styria, there was slow-moving traffic in sections of the Pyhrn Autobahn (A9) in the direction of the Voralpenkreuz junction, particularly in the construction site areas near Mautern and Trieben. A storm also led to massive traffic delays. According to the ÖAMTC, numerous streets were closed due to fallen trees, such as Ennstal Straße (B320) in Schladming, Leobener Straße (B116) between Leoben and St. Michael in Upper Styria and Erlauftal Straße (B25) near Lainbach. The clean-up work is going on at full speed.
