On Saturday, the start of the semester break on numerous main connections in Western Austria made itself felt, especially in the nearby area of the large ski areas the ÖAMTC traffic expert recorded: inside traffic.
In Salzburg there were delays around the thirty minutes in both directions on the Tauern Autobahn (A10) in the area of the tunnel construction sites between Golling and throwing. In Tyrol, Kiefersfelden (A12) occurred again and again before the Autobahn border crossing of up to fifteen minutes. The streets were also well frequented into the Zillertal, on Zillertalstraße (B169) the traffic in front of the board fall tunnel was only handled in a blockage and also traffic jams were also carried out on Achensee Strasse (B181). A similar traffic situation offered travelers on Fernpass Straße (B179), between the border tunnel Füssen and Reutte and in the area of the Fernstein Lake, it was also slow.
In Vorarlberg, the skiers had to be patient on the way to the Montafon, it was damaged on the Rhine Valley Autobahn (A14) before departure and subsequently on the L188, Montafoner Straße.
The club reminds that from today everyone who is traveling on motorways or expressways needs the new vignette for 2025 – be careful, it is checked!
