ADAC trailer in use

The flight observer from the partner club ADAC will also be on duty on weekends from July 6th when the weather conditions are stable. In particular, the greater Munich area, the Munich – Salzburg and Rosenheim – Kiefersfelden connections as well as the Tauern Autobahn and the Inn Valley are served. The observations from Germany make it easier to predict developments at the traffic jam points in Austria.

Driving bans for transients

In Salzburg and Tyrol, many exit and passage closures for transit traffic will come into force again this year over the summer months.

Major events: motorsport, cycling tours, music festivals

This year, some major events – such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix and Moto GP – will once again attract hundreds of thousands of fans. Formula 1 will be in Spielberg from June 28th to 30th, and Moto GP from August 16th to 18th. The Tour of Austria (July 3rd to 7th), the hip hop festival “Rolling Loud” in Ebreichsdorf (July 5th to 7th), the Electric Love music festival at the Salzburgring (July 5th to 7th), the Frequency in St. Pölten (August 15th to 17th), the journey to the Formula in Budapest (July 19th to 21st) and the Iron Man in Zell am See on the first weekend in September cause delays. The ÖAMTC will report separately on all events.
