ÖAMTC opens the new base in Tulln

Sustainable construction, climate-friendly operation and more space for more diverse services: After more than 25 years, the previous ÖAMTC location in Tulln was replaced by an innovative successor-a base that is based on the needs of the future and marks another milestone on the club’s modernization offensive.

With this modern base, the mobility club presents another project with an exemplary effect that strengthens the region sustainably and focuses on mobility needs of the members of the Tulln area.”

“Continuous membership growth, more diverse forms of mobility and the constant further development of our services also require the consistent expansion of our infrastructure,” emphasizes Oliver Krupitza, ÖAMTC state director for Vienna, Lower Austria and the Burgenland, and continues: “As with every new ÖAMTC new building, the sustainable construction and operation is also in focus. It is particularly important to us to pay attention to a clean CO2 balance when expanding our infrastructure. “

In the new base building in Tulln, the sustainable building material was also used on the sustainable building material – the supporting structure even consists 100 percent of the renewable raw material. Sustainable solutions are also used for energy supply: heating and cooling are carried out using brine/water heat pump system with depth probes. In addition, a generous photovoltaic system is installed on the roof, so that the new base can largely supply itself with renewable energy.

“With 115 bases across Austria, we currently supply more than 2.6 million members-as a modern mobility club, we always want to offer you the highest possible quality in service. In order to continue to do justice to this claim in the Tulln area, we have created sufficient space and capacity for the comprehensive care of our members,” explains ÖAMTC President Günter Thumser.

For club members in the region, the new base is the first point of contact for mobility. It combines all ÖAMTC services that cover the wide range of individual mobility, under one roof: club services, shop, insurance service, breakdown help and of course all technical test services and services.
