Vienna (OTS) – The “Ex libris – Summer Talks” begins on Ö1 on Sunday, July 14th. Dialogue as a basic democratic principle is the common thread of the seven conversations, each of which focuses on an author. On the following Monday, a text by the author can be heard in the Ö1 “Radio Stories”. A contribution to this can be seen in “Kultur Today” on ORF III every Friday before the Ö1 broadcast.
On seven Sundays, the Ö1 series “Ex libris – Summer Conversations” (4 p.m.) focuses on one author – but it is not about the writer as a “brand”, but rather a conversation between two Contemporaries who exchange ideas in a fundamentally democratic sense about issues that concern them. In the first issue on July 14th, Judith Hoffmann speaks with Daniel Kehlmann, in the subsequent episodes Nicole Dietrich with Karin Peschka (July 21st), Julia Zarbach with Bodo Hell (July 28th), Günter Kaindlstorfer with Nava Ebrahimi (August 4th), Peter Zimmermann with Hans Platzgumer (11.8.), Christine Scheucher with Anna Mitgutsch (18.8.) and Wolfgang Popp with Ann Cotten (25.8.).
On the following Monday, a text by the author can be heard on the Ö1 “Radio Stories” (11:05 a.m.). On Monday, July 15th, Ulrich Noethen will read from Daniel Kehlmann’s novel “Lichtspiel”. On ORF III, a contribution to the upcoming episode can be seen in “Culture Today” (7:40 p.m.) on the Friday before the Ö1 broadcast; on July 12th, the focus is on Daniel Kehlmann.
