Ö1 business magazine “Saldo” on January 26th: Tourism State Secretary Susanne Kraus-Winkler in an interview

Vienna (OTS) Maria Kern spoke to Tourism State Secretary Susanne Kraus-Winkler (ÖVP) about the high prices in tourism, the usefulness of guest records and the question of whether she wants to remain State Secretary after the election – heard in “Saldo – the business magazine”. Friday, January 26th from 9:42 a.m. on Ö1.

Half of the winter season is over – reason to take stock of the situation with State Secretary for Tourism Susanne Kraus-Winkler. The ÖVP politician defends the massive price increases in tourism – keyword ski tickets of more than 70 euros – but she also says that guests have now become more price-sensitive. As far as the staff shortage is concerned, Kraus-Winkler does not see the low collective agreement wages as a significant cause. She says companies pay their employees an average of 30 percent more. The State Secretary also talks about climate change and the usefulness of overnight stay records. Maria Kern also asked her whether she would like to remain in the government after the election and how she feels about the FPÖ.
