NTS 7 IT Forum 2024

October 17, 2024: This year, IT experts and enthusiasts met again at the 7th IT Forum of the IT service provider NTS to exchange ideas, listen to top-class speakers and celebrate 15 years of NTS Innsbruck and 10 years of NTS Dornbirn together .

emphasized in his welcome Alexander Albler, co-owner and Chief Executive Officer from NTS, how pleased he was that the 7 IT Forum had developed into a fixture in the IT world of western Austria. Also Matthias Stigger, Territory Manager Tiroland Werner Mennel, Territory Manager Vorarlbergwere happy about the numerous guests: “It is always a pleasure to be able to organize the 7 IT Forum,” said Stigger and Mennel added: “We are looking forward to inspiring conversations throughout the day and exciting lectures.” Andreas Gröbl from Servus TV led the day through the day in his usual charming and professional manner.

Stay flexible and optimistic

Former General of the Bundeswehr, Hans-Lothar Domröseopened the lecture series with his remarks on ‘Security amid global power shifts’. He spoke about current threats such as wars, the climate crisis and changes in politics and the economy. “It’s important to stay agile,” explained Domröse. “Agility is the ability to move troops and adjust their dispositions and activities more quickly than the enemy.” You have to stay flexible and optimistic because, “Our world is made for change, you can’t stop it, but together we can make a big difference.”

Know your data, know your body

Brought an exciting message Patrick Kramer, founder of Upgraded Humans and biohacking pioneer: “Digitalization as we know it is just the beginning, just the tip of the iceberg.” According to Kramer, chip implants are part of natural development and the limits are currently set more by ethical arguments than by technological capacities. “I’m a big fan of measuring your own data to see where you stand,” says Kramer, who has a few implants himself. “Know your data, understand the needs of your body and start to optimize yourself accordingly and recognize what is good for you. This is the only way to realize your full potential.”

“Give more than you take”

Also in Joey Kellys The lecture was about how to make the most of your life. The Musicians, endurance athletes and entrepreneurs showed through his fascinating life story that with a “NO LIMITS” spirit, there are no limits. His tip for achieving any goal, no matter how challenging: “Discipline, courage, passion and passion – you need all of this to achieve your goals, whether in sport, music or in a business context.” Kelly talked about what it was like growing up as part of the Kelly family: “At a time when we weren’t that successful, we often played music on the street. Sometimes we only had one fan in front of us, other days there were over 100 people. Discipline, focus, endurance – that was on our agenda from the start. The clear goal in the future was to play in a stadium in front of 100,000 people.” However, he learned the most from the defeats and setbacks: “Be grateful and patient. Give more than you take. That was the foundation of the Kelly Family. This is also a business tool. Investment in my team, my business idea, family, friends – it will pay off!”

Security through experience

A special highlight was the insight into the world of freediving Anna von Boetticher. As one of the most famous Apnoetaucherinnen The world, who has set over thirty German records in her sport and won multiple medals in world championships, shared her fascination with depth in her lecture. “Why can I dive deep, why can I be like a fish under water? In the end it’s nothing but training. I train a physical function and reinforce abilities that we as humans naturally have.” Von Boetticher’s deepest dive was 125 meters. “My body protects me when diving. I guarantee safety mainly with my self-experience and self-assessment.” But no matter how well you prepare, there can always be a problem that you don’t expect: “I need to know not to panic. If I don’t trust myself, it’s life-threatening.” However, security through experience not only applies to freediving, but also to IT security!

Happy Birthday, NTS Innsbruck and NTS Dornbirn!

The conclusion was right Cabaret artist and musician Markus Linder The guests were introduced to the subsequent Get2Gether with an amusing musical interlude. 15 years of NTS Innsbruck and 10 years of Dornbirn were duly celebrated here. “I congratulate both locations and I would also like to thank all customers, because without them these anniversaries would not be possible,” said Abler. “I would like to say THANK YOU on behalf of the entire NTS Innsbruck location. Without the hard work of our employees and the good cooperation with us “We would never have been able to develop so positively as a location with our customers and partners,” Stigger also added, “From my side, I would also like to say a big thank you to all customers, partners and colleagues in Vorarlberg, but also in Tyrol who we work so well together, I’m dazzled!”
