NPP: ÖIF numbers prove dramatic failure of Ludwig’s immigration policy
Vienna (OTS) –

“The figures of the Austrian integration fund presented today are a relentless proof of the complete failure of Michael Ludwig’s uncontrolled immigration policy. Especially in Vienna the data show how dramatic the situation has already become: Almost every second student no longer speaks German at home, and almost half of the first graders are extraordinary students because they cannot follow the lessons such as favorites, Ottakring and Simmering The proportion of children who do not have German as a mother tongue between 72 and 67 percent.

In Vienna alone, 54.2 percent of young people under the age of 19 have a migration background, the highest value in all of Austria. With over 28,500 young people, Syrians form the highest proportion of people born abroad. At 37 percent in Vienna, the proportion of students with foreign nationality is almost twice as high as in the federal average. The number of extraordinary students who have no sufficient knowledge of German is particularly alarming. “That means nothing other than that thousands of children in Vienna cannot follow the lessons at all. This is an educational policy super-gau,” criticizes Nepp.

The situation at the Vienna elementary schools is particularly dramatic: 45 percent of the first graders were classified as extraordinary students this year – an explosive increase of 25 percent within just two years. Margaret, favorites and the Brigittenau are at the top with almost 74 to 64 percent of extraordinary first graders. “This shows that entire generations of children in Vienna slip into parallel societies. Instead of education and advancement, there are language deficits and refusal to integrate. A fact that goes at the expense of our own children and Vienna society,” warns Nepp.

For the Viennese FPÖ boss, it is clear: “While Ludwig and his SPÖ are playing as a lawyer of mass immigration, the Viennese pay the price that is reflected in a falling level of education, overloaded schools and an increasingly uncertain city. An education policy that our children focused on again. “
