The radio phone-in show becomes a live talk and tours through Austria
Vienna (OTS) – As part of the Ö3 youth study in April and May 2024, the auditorium or ballroom of schools in Austria will become a pop-up talk arena. Around 200 students between the ages of 16 and 18 discuss the important issues of our time. School is the perfect place for this premiere: dilemmas of our society such as “dream job” or “safe job”, “beauty filter” or “body positivity”, “secondhand” or “new”, “meat” or “veggie” , “cash” or “card”, “car” or “train” and many more can be examined from the perspective of young people. This promotes the exchange of perspectives and the opinion-forming process.
Ö3 broadcaster boss Michael Pauser: “It is important for Ö3 to focus on content that moves people and to enter into dialogue with the people in Austria. With the ‘Ask the Whole Country’ tour we are not only directly in the schools, but also in the realities of life of our young audience. We are also implementing our goal of offering young listeners a platform for important discussions. And not just in the broadcast studio, but also on tour throughout Austria.”
The “Ask the Whole Country” hosts Tina Ritschl and Philipp Bergsmann:
“There are so many topics that need to be discussed, because hearing other opinions and accepting them is important. The world is not black and white, it is colorful and diverse. Everyone can express their opinion and promote their positions. Clear and clear, but always with respect and at eye level. And that’s exactly what we want to make noticeable in and with the Ö3 pop-up talk arena. We are really looking forward to exciting discussions!”
It starts on Wednesday, April 17th in Klagenfurt: The gymnasium of the BG/BRG Lerchenfeld becomes a pop-up talk arena. The South Styrian pop singer Anna-Sophie and the Klagenfurt content creator Dominic Rumpf will also be discussing with the students.
Exchanging opinions, talking and listening – that’s “Ask the whole country – on tour!”
And on Saturday there will of course be the Ö3 community show live on the radio as always – from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the dilemmas of the Ö3 community.
