With the annual health day for the approximately 1,300 employees at the company headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen, Lower Austria, NOVOMATIC underlines its great commitment to company health promotion.
For the employees of the international gaming technology group, NOVO Company Day is an annual fixture in the summer. With this year’s Health Day, the company once again focused on the topics of health, nutrition, sport and exercise as well as occupational safety, thereby sending a strong signal for the great importance of company health promotion at NOVOMATIC.
In an appreciative welcome speech, the entire NOVOMATIC Board of Directors emphasized the interplay between employee health and company success: “The success of NOVOMATIC is inextricably linked to the health and satisfaction of our employees. We therefore view promoting their well-being as a central pillar of our sustainable corporate development. With NOVO Company Day we would like to thank all employees for their commitment, because their daily commitment and willingness make a significant contribution to the success of NOVOMATIC.” The local deputy mayor Dagmar Handel also underlined the importance of the company in her speech for the region: “NOVOMATIC is of great importance for the market town of Gumpoldskirchen, as the company not only creates diverse, qualified jobs, but also attaches great importance to the health of its employees.”
In keeping with the group-wide motto “Enjoy Working With Us”, fun and team spirit were not neglected at this year’s NOVO Company Day. In particular, the lecture by Austria’s leading mental expert Manuel Horeth thrilled the audience with exciting live experiments. In addition to informative health check stations, the health day program also offered valuable safety training, such as the correct use of fire extinguishers and defibrillators.
The motivated participation of employees in the health day program is evidence of the valuable contribution that the company makes to promoting the company’s health culture.
