The Natural History Museum Vienna and the KHM Museum Association confirm that they very much regret the cancellation of the Christmas market in 2025 on Maria-Theresien-Platz. For many people, the Christmas market is a very valued event that generates attention for both cultural institutions and invites you to combine the visit of the Christmas market and museum.
The KHM Museum Association and the Natural History Museum Vienna begin their renovation work for a barrier-free entrance until autumn 2026. The 2025 Christmas market can take place unhindered from the perspective of the two museums.
