The future of energy supply is green, efficient and intelligent – and has already led to an impressive milestone in Fürstenfeld: after only seven months of project duration, NGEN GmbH has put the largest battery storage system into operation. With a capacity of 24 MWh, the system will play a central role in stabilizing the power grid and storing renewable energies.
The facility, equipped with six Tesla Megapacks 2xL, was planned, built and put into operation in record time-proof of the innovative strength and the commitment of the NGEN team. “This battery storage system is not only a technical achievement, but also a symbol of what is possible when we combine sustainability and innovation
,” explain novel Bernard, CEO the NGEN GROUP.
The new system will help reduce the dependence on fossil fuels by storing renewable energies and releasing if necessary. Especially at peak times, when the demand for electricity exceeds the supply, the battery storage will play a crucial role and thus significantly improve not only network stability, but also the security of supply.
The importance of the project extends far beyond the region. It shows how technological solutions can help to achieve the global climate goals and at the same time create economic advantages. “Fürstenfeld is only the beginning. Our vision is to make a contribution to the energy transition with intelligent battery stores in the entire roof region and beyond
“, They are Matija Dolinar, GF der Ngen GmbH.
With the completion of this system, NGEN underlines its role as a leading all-in-one provider of smart, green energy solutions and proves that innovation and sustainability are the keys for a successful energy transition.
