Julian Steiner speaks for the new Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger.
Steiner is considered an experienced communication professional, he has been communicating in different functions for NEOS since 2017, most recently as a spokesman for Neos chairwoman and club chairwoman Beate Meinl-Reisinger. The former radio journalist and employee at the information service of the Austrian Embassy in Washington DC accompanied several national and regional campaigns by the NEOs and was a spokesman for the parliamentary club. In 2021 he received the title “Political spokesman of the Year” from the industry magazine “Journalist: In”. Most recently, he was used as a spokesman for the parliamentary club.
For the Foreign Ministry, department heads and spokesman Clemens Mantl and deputy department head and spokeswoman Alena Baur continue to speak.
