The new podcast “Psychotherapy moves” Started with great response and enthusiasm. The first episode “What is psychotherapy?” Ines GreinPsychotherapist and Presidium member of the Austrian Federal Association for Psychotherapy (ÖBVP), met with enormous interest – a sign that the need for sound information about psychotherapy is great.
Produced by Lucia LaggnerJournalist, moderator and prospective psychotherapist, the podcast pursues the goal, To make psychotherapy understandable, break taboos and dissolve myths. “Psychotherapy is still unclear in the minds of many. Who actually prescribes psychotropic drugs? And what distinguishes the psychologist from the psychotherapist? ”Says Laggner. “With my curiosity and enthusiasm for the incredibly versatile, well -founded and moving discipline of psychotherapy, I also want to infect others and spark their interest.”

Each episode is dedicated to a central aspect of psychotherapy – more well -founded and more entertaining – From the explanation of the different psychotherapeutic directions to current developments such as Online psychotherapy. “I want the podcast to be stimulating and enriching for everyone – for people who are thinking for the first time to start psychotherapy, as well as for trained psychotherapists: inside who want to get new impulses,” said Laggner.

After the successful start, the second episode is devoted to the topic “Online psychotherapy” with Lukas Wagnerhimself a psychotherapist and leading expert for digitization in psychotherapy. The upcoming episodes deal with the diversity of psychotherapeutic schools and practical questions about access to psychotherapy.
Podcast “Psychotherapy moves” – a cooperation with the Austrian Federal Association for Psychotherapy
For the first ten episodes there is a cooperation with the Austrian Federal Association for Psychotherapy (ÖBVP)who sees the podcast as an important platform to clarify and visualize the discipline. “The podcast comes at the right time of the entry into force of the new psychotherapy law (PTH-G 2024). Lucia Laggner knows how to captivate the listener: in the first minute, to captivate, ”says Ines Gstrein. “For us as a professional representative, the podcast supports our mandate of deputation and horror of psychotherapy, just as it is a great service for our members to get exciting impulses.” ÖBVP President Barbara Haid adds: “We are very happy that this cooperation with Lucia Laggner, out of a first courageous idea, has reached implementation.
