Vienna (OTS) Four new episodes in “Funtime on Friday”! A new edition of “Fact or Fake” will kick off on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1: Gerald Votava, Michael Ostrowski and Julia Edtmeier will rack their brains over bizarre facts and astonishing deceptions with Clemens Maria Schreiner . At 9.15 p.m. Christoph Grissemann and Herbert Prohaska welcome you back to “Switching sides – This is how we become European champions”: In the second edition, group opponents France will be examined by Austrian team boss Ralf Rangnick, cabaret artist and voice impersonator Alex Kristan and ORF France correspondent Cornelia Primosch . At 10:25 p.m. – and from 8 p.m. on ORF ON – the synchronous anarchists Peter Hörmanseder and Robert Schwanz will deal with light and shadow in our beautiful Austria in the May issue of “Maschek”. And at 11:05 p.m. Oliver Baier and his “What’s new?” guessing team Günther Lainer, Caroline Athanasiadis, Rudi Schöller, Severin Groebner and Omar Sarsam take a trip to the Far East.

“Fact or Fake” at 8:15 p.m

The world is so much more beautiful when it is colorful! Moderator Clemens Maria Schreiner thinks so too and surprises Gerald Votava, Michael Ostrowski and Julia Edtmeier with screws that can change color. When trying to get to the bottom of the hustle and bustle, a lot of energy flows through the creative minds. It’s fitting that a video shows the amazed guessing team how to fill energy into syringes. And if that doesn’t work, a cup of coffee can always help. He’s supposed to be healthy, right?

“Change of sides – This is how we become European champions” at 9.15 p.m

In the second edition, Grissemann and Prohaska take on group opponents France. Nobody knows better how to assess this opponent than the team boss of the Austrian national team himself: Ralf Rangnick will be a guest and perhaps even have a look at the cards. How does he want to tackle “Les Bleus”? On the other side of the studio, a man takes a seat who speaks with many footballer voices: It remains to be seen whether Alex Kristan will be in the studio as Hans Krankl, Herbert Prohaska or Toni Polster. ORF France correspondent Cornelia Primosch, as an expert on the country, will hopefully be able to provide information on how the French team can be brought to its knees beyond tactical moves. There will also be another mock sketch, the legendary goal wall shooting and a final song by Herbert Prohaska with Pete Art and band.

“Maschek” at 10:25 p.m

For the dubbing anarchists Peter Hörmanseder and Robert Schwanz, this issue is all about light and shadow. The shadow that the EU election casts on our domestic politics, which also brings movement into the party landscape. At the parade of top candidates, Maschek shed light on the darkness of the green murk, present the most complicated election song of all time and provide revelations about the FPÖ. “Maschek” also brings to light the confusion between state governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner and her twin sister and the incredible transformation of Economics Minister Kocher into a superhero. Not only does the EU election cast its shadow, but also the European Football Championship. The Austrian fans can only continue to hope for sensations because Chancellor Nehammer personally convinced Ralf Rangnick to stay with the national team. Maschek know more about it and in the mountains they also meet the Federal President and the self-proclaimed future People’s Chancellor Kickl. Did the two of them meet? “Maschek” shows more about why Marcel Hirscher is a poor wretch, how Vienna Mayor Michael Ludwig cleans up other people’s dirt and everything about dates from Turkish President Erdogan, because the truth lies behind the pictures.

“What’s new?” at 11:05 p.m

Oliver Baier lets his gaze wander into the distance and takes his advice team on a question-and-answer tour to the Far East. This trip rewards guests with deep laugh lines and new knowledge. Günther Lainer, Caroline Athanasiadis, Rudi Schöller, Severin Groebner and Omar Sarsam learn that they can prevent stains with the sought-after “Japan handle”. And why it’s worth taking a folding chair with you in the trunk when vacationing in Seoul. Political scientist Peter Filzmaier asks the celebrity question: He wants to know from the advice team what a “whale fall” is all about. It’s not just the thing of the week that promises a laugh in this episode!
