From January 20th, RTLZWEI will once again be showing new episodes of “Hartz and cordial – Benz barracks day after day”. The social report shows the everyday life of people in the Mannheim district of Waldhof. The production company’s camera teams have been on site almost every day for over six years, accompanying the people in the Benz barracks: real, shocking, but often funny and, above all, warm.
In the new episodes we find out more about Petra’s love life: She is head over heels in love with the music manager Felix. The two met during the video shoot for the new edition of the “Tostebrot” song in Hamburg. Even though getting to know each other over the distance isn’t easy, Petra is sure that Felix is the right one for her. Even moving to the Hanseatic city is an option for her. Nevertheless, the 54-year-old cannot shake her suspicions…
In the yellow terraced house, Dieter has an important check-up appointment with the dermatologist. It’s been six months since he had an inflamed mole on his back removed, which turned out to be nonmelanoma skin cancer. Are there any other abnormalities or is everything healing according to plan? Beate also has health concerns. She only recently found out about her cataracts when she went to the optician to get new glasses. Since the appointment in question, the topic has made her very unsettled and she is very afraid of going blind.
