The Vienna Health Promotion-WIG with its City Challenge offers varied DIY health tours for young people, which are now completely new in the country road, Simmering and the Danube City and thus in 12 Viennese districts (2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 20, 22). “At the City Challenge we rely on playful learning and conveying young people in doing so that health is fun. They solve tasks independently, discover facts about their Grätzel and turn their knowledge – this promotes health and social competence. I am all the more pleased that we have expanded the do it yourself tours so that young people in the district road, Simmering and Danube city benefit from it,” explains Dennis Beck, managing director of the Vienna Health Promotion – Wig.
DIY tours for different age groups
The tours were developed by young people for young people between the ages of 12 and 19 and invite you to explore the district independently. Whether during the holidays, during school or after afternoons: the offer is available all year round. This allows schools or youth -specific institutions to get started on their own and explore the healthy sides of their district together with the young people! The fun and creativity are not neglected: the participants can look forward to movement tasks, quiz and estimation issues on the topics of mental health, exercise and nutrition. About the project
The City Challenge is an offer for young people and part of the “Healthy districts” program. The project will be on behalf of the Vienna Health Promotion – WIG von Queraum.
