The best punch lines on the topic of “food and drink” at 8:15 p.m
Vienna (OTS) – The summit meeting of the German-speaking cabaret scene is on the program for “Funtime on Friday”. At the 14th “Cabaret Summit”, local cabaret stars Gery Seidl, Gernot Kulis and Malarina, together with their colleagues from Germany, Guido Cantz and Martin Frank, will deliver their best punch lines on the topic on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1 “Food and Drink”. They will again be musically accompanied by the all-female formation “KGB – The Cabaret Summit Band”.
Culinary stand-up performances every second
The humor table is well set when Gery Seidl, Gernot Kulis, Malarina, Guido Cantz and Martin Frank entertain in the town hall with their thoughts on the topic of “food and drink”. Gery Seidl takes the audience on a journey from the regulars’ table to the motorway service station. Gernot Kulis makes a brave attempt to book a table in the restaurant by phone and ends up getting himself into trouble. For Malarina, Austrian food culture raises several questions: Why do people bring their own food to a barbecue? And what is this black bread all about? In Martin Frank’s multi-generational household, sugar is transformed into agave syrup within two floors. And with Guido Cantz it’s not just the mineral water glass that sparkles, the punchlines are also sparkling.
