New adventure world for zoo city Haag

As part of the preparations of the Lower Austrian State Exhibition 2026, an adventure world is being built in the Tierpark Stadt Haag together with a new Mostzviertel Museum. In particular, this is intended to offer the young audience even more incentives to visit the Lower Austrian Land Exhibition and the region in the western Mostviertel. For this purpose, the city’s former courtyard is being redesigned and expanded to include the Moster experience world (indoor playground), a Multimedia Museum and the new Mostviertel Museum. This new Mostviertel Museum will present the region’s cultural heritage at the level of the time.

On the initiative of Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, the Lower Austrian state government decided to support this construction project of 800,000 euros. “With the environmental projects around the Lower Austrian state exhibition in 2026, we make the Mostviertel in a completely new way – historical, cultural, culinary and touristy. This new world of experience together with the Mostviertel Museum in the Tierpark Stadt Haag will not only inspire families and children, but also offer all visitors a holistic experience and convey the cultural heritage of the Mostviertel in a timely way. In the best future of our children, ”emphasizes Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner.

The new adventure world in the city of Haag zoo is only one of several environment projects of the Lower Austrian state exhibition on the subject of “When the world is head. Man. Psyche. Health”, which takes place in Amstetten wall. For example, the Ulmerfeld Castle is also being developed as a cultural meeting and event location and the new Starkl adventure garden in Aschbach is rebuilt for special natural experiences.

The Lower Austrian state exhibitions contribute significantly to the further development and upgrade of the regions, so that they also benefit from the country’s investments in the long term.
