Barcelona, Spain (ots/PRNewswire) – At MWC Barcelona 2024, Huawei’s multi-layered ransomware protection solution (MRP) was certified by Tolly Group, a leading international testing organization. The test results show that Huawei MRP detected 100% of ransomware samples through collaboration between network and storage. Network devices can detect information and the extent of ransomware and work with storage devices to block and protect it and return services to normal.
Ransomware attacks continue to pose a global threat, with the service, IT and manufacturing industries being the main targets. Therefore, it is crucial for companies to improve the “immunity” of their data centers to protect against viruses and ransomware attacks and ensure the stable operation of their core service systems.
Huawei’s MRP solution is the industry’s first ransomware protection solution that enables collaboration between network and storage, providing a two-pronged defense with six layers of protection. The network is the first line of defense for security protection, protecting against intrusions at the network edge and intranet proliferation. Storage is the last line of defense for data protection, providing storage protection, secure snapshot, backup protection and isolation zone protection.
