Rituals and traditions are all around Mother’s Day mandatory for many. According to a market agent survey (1,000 people), 41 percent consider gifts to be a must, 37 percent say a family celebration is a must, just over a quarter take on certain activities, a fifth go on a trip with their mother and almost as many “serve” them on their special day, it was said on Wednesday. The Mother’s Day has weight in Austria: a good half of those surveyed give it a high priority.
