Mikrona Group acquires FTC Dental

Mikrona Group AG, a leading Swiss provider of orthodontics and digital dentistry solutions, takes over the FTC Frey Trading & Consulting Sàrl as well as the associated training platform Mydentalexpert Sàrl. Mikrona Group is part of Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG, which is managed by Winterberg Advisory and KKA Partners.

Healthcare Holding Switzerland AG has completed the takeover of FTC Frey Trading & Consulting Sàrl in Crans-Près-Céligny and the associated online training platform Mydentalexpert Sàrl in ST-Cergue in the Swiss canton of Vaud through her daughter Mikrona Group AG. The owner Bernhard Frey, a well -known expert in the field of root canal treatment and dental maintenance, is still involved in the company and remains on board as a managing director. FTC Dental has been the specialist in the field of endodontics for about 2 decades. FTC Dental sells a complete program for root canal treatment: instruments for preparation, organic ceramic, obturation devices, microscopes and magnifying glasses. The practice-oriented further training of FTC Dental are carried out digitally, hybrid, hybrid, or hands-on.
