The merchants around the Siebensternplatz invite you to the second event of the “Meet the Makers” event series. This time under the motto “Drinks & Taste” with creative experiences, actions and workshops that offer enjoyment for all the senses.
Diversity and flair describe the Siebensternviertel the most aptly. The quarter is known for its lively culture, the creative shops and the unique bars. With the four -part series of events “Meet the Makers”, which spontaneously initiated, initiated by the 7th district in spring 2025 and supported by the new building and the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. The second event will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025, under the motto “Drinks & Taste”.
Creative despite and because of the subway construction site
The fact that the event series “Meet the Makers” takes place in the Siebensternviertel is no coincidence: “The Siebensternviertel has been under pressure for some time due to the subway construction,” says Kurt Wilhelm, chairman of the IG of the merchants on the new building. Due to the fences and longer paths, visitors keep stuck in the inner flows. “This Grätzl is actually extremely popular because of its shops and restaurants. With ‘Meet the Makers’ we set new impulses and provide movement together,” explains Kurt Wilhelm the event goal.
Neubauer district head Markus Reiter also hits the same notch: “The entrepreneurs of the 7th district actively contribute to the charm, for the new building in Vienna.
