From May 26th to 28th, 2025, the first International Digital Humanism Conference will take place in the museum district. Leading experts from science, technology and society discuss how digital technologies can be designed in such a way that they strengthen democracy, human rights and social justice. The focus is on topics such as artificial intelligence, platform regulation, innovation, cyber security and the role of technology in democracy and journalism. Vienna’s role as an international location for digital humanism is also highlighted.
The conference is organized by the Association for the Promotion of Digital Humanism and supported by the City of Vienna and the Vienna Science, Research and Technology Fund (WWTF).
