Medat – press conference on admission procedures for medical studies in Vienna

(Vienna, 01-07-2025) 15,668 people have registered online for the joint admission procedure for studying at the medical universities in Vienna, Innsbruck and Graz and at the medical faculty of the Johannes Kepler University Linz until the end of March 2025. There were a total of 7,729 registrations at the Medical University of Vienna alone. At the beginning of the admission test, the MedUni Vienna invites you to a press date in the Vienna trade fair.

Anita Rieder, Vice -Rector for Teaching at the Medical University of Vienna, is available on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 8.30 a.m. before the written tests started. There is also the possibility of photo and film recordings in one of the halls.

The number of participation of the MedAT recording procedures will be announced on July 4, 2024 to 2 p.m. via joint sending.

A total of 1,900 study places
For the studies 2025/26, a total of 1,900 study places are available for the studies of human and dentistry, 772 at the Medical University of Vienna, 420 at the Medical University of Innsbruck, 388 at the Medical University of Graz and 320 at the medical faculty of the JKU Linz (in Linz only human medicine).
