The MCI works council chairman Johannes Dickel is horrified and outraged by the fantasies in politics and the media of moving the MCI to UMIT in Hall.
“Mistakes from the past at other Tyrolean universities must never be carried out on the backs of MCI employees,” demands Dickel.
It is irresponsible to “drive the 30-year success story of the Management Center Innsbruck to the wall” by now also questioning the Innsbruck location that gives it its name and defines its identity.
The MCI employees did not deserve such careless uncertainty. Therefore, the MCI works council says a categorical no to all considerations of relocating the MCI to UMIT.
