21 talents sing and dance for the last five semi-final tickets
Vienna (OTS) – Who will get the last tickets for the live shows? In the sixth edition of “The Big Chance – Let’s Sing and Dance” on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1, Fanny Stapf and Andi Knoll welcome 21 new acts. The talents demonstrate their vocal and dancing skills on the large “DGC” stage and try out this week’s jury – Mark Seibert, Simone Stelzer and Josh. – to convince yourself. Simone Stelzer: “Beforehand, I decided not to be too strict. For many it is certainly their first appearance in front of an audience. However, the participants performed so well across the board that I actually couldn’t give it a completely bad rating. That really surprised me, the professionalism. You can already promise: there is something for every taste!”
Mark Seibert: “As a musical actor, I know the situation of having to expose yourself to the opinion of a jury or a creative team and hope that you get through to the next round. Doing that in front of a TV audience is another step up. That’s why I was rooting for the candidates from the very first second and was amazed at what great talents were at the start!”

Die Live-Shows ab 26. April in ORF 1
Fanny Stapf and Andi Knoll welcome you to the live semi-final shows on Fridays, April 26th, May 3rd and May 10th, as well as to the big live final show on Friday, May 17th – at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1. In In each of the three programs, ten acts show what they’re made of with a new vocal or dance performance. At the end of each semi-final, three talents advance to the grand final. The best nine acts will compete for victory and therefore 50,000 euros on May 17th.
“The big opportunity – Let’s sing and dance” – barrier-free
“The Big Chance – Let’s sing and dance” on ORF 1 is broadcast in a fully barrier-free manner: ORF TELETEXT offers subtitles for deaf and hearing-impaired viewers on page 777 and all ten programs are also available in an audio version for blind and visually impaired audiences stand. The emotions on the show stage will be made live for people with visual impairments by experienced audio commentators – Juliane Kühberger and Sebastian Aster will accompany the audience with their commentary. The task of the audio commentators is to convey everything that remains hidden from their audience through acoustic image descriptions: such as the appearance of the costumes and the choreography of the dances, gestures, facial expressions and show effects. This live audio commentary can be heard on the second audio track, which can be set via the remote control.
