ERSTE Foundation, Erste Social Finance Holding, IFUA Nonprofit Partner and SIMPACT support the growth path with know-how
Vienna (OTS) – Companies that work on solutions to social problems or sustainability issues often have difficulty obtaining suitable financing. They often lack the know-how and economic skills to convince investors with their plans. The Marc Impact program is intended to support impact companies in closing these gaps and at the same time securing financing for further growth: Applications for companies in Austria, Hungary and Romania started on June 6th.
Official start as part of the Impact Days conference
The Marc Impact Program is a collaboration between ERSTE Foundation, Erste Social Finance Holding, IFUA Nonprofit Partner and SIMPACT. The official launch took place on June 6, 2024 as part of the Impact Days, which was organized by Impact Hub Vienna. “There are two paths you can take in life: one is the safe path and the other is the curious path. If you take the curious route, which is what impact entrepreneurs do, then things quickly get foggy. You first have to learn to get along and find the right path to your goal. The Marc Impact program can support this,” said Boris Marteboard member of the ERSTE Foundation.
The Marc Impact aims to equip companies with essential tools within eight months – from business know-how, which is tailor-made by local partner organizations, to access to financing and a supporting ecosystem through networks and partnerships, which also includes the other participants: count within the program.

Application deadline is September 2024
The multi-phase Marc Impact program will start for the first time in October 2024 in Austria, Hungary and Romania. The application phase ends in September 2024. All information about the applications can be found at https://marc-impactprogramme.net/.
The program is to be expanded to Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Serbia between 2025 and 2027.
