VPNÖ, FPNÖ & SPNÖ agree on January 26, 2025 as the local council election date in Lower Austria
St. Pölten (OTS) – All parties represented in the state government – VPNÖ, FPNÖ and SPNÖ – have agreed on January 26, 2025 as the election date for the local council elections in Lower Austria.
“This election date guarantees, on the one hand, planning security for the communities today and, on the other hand, the shortest possible election campaign. In this way, we ensure that in 2025 – after the local council elections – the work for the community citizens can be continued as quickly as possible,” said VPNÖ state manager BR Matthias Zauner, FPNÖ state party secretary Alexander Murlasits and SPNÖ state manager Wolfgang Zwander.
The state government will formally decide on the election date at one of its upcoming meetings.
