Vienna (OTS) – “While SPÖ party leader Andreas Babler strictly rejects any cooperation between neutral states and NATO, the SPÖ leading candidate welcomes this cooperation. Perhaps it would be advantageous for the SPÖ if Babler and Schieder talked to each other first before informing the public. One thing is certain: Once again it is clear that the SPÖ represents at least two, and usually even more, different positions on very important issues such as security or migration policy,” emphasizes Reinhold Lopatka, the People’s Party’s top candidate for the European Parliament election, and points out the contradictory statements of the two Social Democrats.
