Lively travel to the south
Vienna (OTS) –

The holidays on the transit routes to the south at the weekend will further increase the start of the holiday in parts of the Netherlands and another travel wave from North Rhine-Westphalia, the ÖAMTC mobility information forecast. The long traffic jams are still imminent, but delays have to be expected primarily before construction site areas, in front of toll stations and before border crossings. In Styria, the Rallye Weiz and the Ennstal Classic will be numerous visitors: attract inside.

Zwtl.: According to ÖAMTC, delays or traffic jams should be planned on the following routes:

  • A1, West Autobahn, in the Salzburg area
  • A2, Süd Autobahn, between Sinabelkirchen and Gleisdorf, in front of a construction site
  • A9, Pyhrn Autobahn, tolls Bosruck and Gleinalmtunnel, Kalwang construction site- Mautern, border playing field
  • A10, Tauern Autobahn, in the Salzburg area, in front of the St. Michael toll in Lungau and in front of the tunnel areas, for example in front of the Oswaldiberg Tunnel near Villach
  • A11, Karawanken Autobahn, in front of the Karawanken tunnel
  • A12, Inntal Autobahn, Greater Innsbruck area, Kufstein/Kiefersfelden border
  • A13, Brenner Autobahn, throughout the course, especially in the Innsbruck area, in front of the Schönberg toll point and in front of the Luegbrücke construction site
  • A23, Southeast Tangente, in both directions throughout the course
  • B179, Fernpass Straße, between Füssen in Bavaria and Nasserith

ZTl.: Stauberater Florian Thaler

Florian Thaler on the Tauern Autobahn (A10) between Walserberg and St. Michael im Lungau will be deployed this Saturday. Even small breakdowns can lead to kilometers of traffic jams. On his motorcycle, the traffic jam consultant has the opportunity to quickly reach defective vehicles and make it quick again.

ZTl.: Rally Weiz on Friday and Saturday

On Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th, the special tests of the rally will be driven in the greater Weiz area. There are roadblocks in the subordinate road network. Delays can be expected on the B72 due to the excess of the spectator.

ZTl.: Around 100,000 guests at the Ennstal Classic expected

From 16.-19.7. the Schladming-Dachstein Grand Bminghine Region becomes again the hotspot for classic car lovers. 182 teams from 12 nations start in Gröbming. The access for viewers takes place exclusively via Gröbming Ost. Delays on the B320 (Ennstal Straße) before the departure is therefore to be expected, according to ÖAMTC, the flow of traffic between the A9 departure Liezen and Wörschach will always come to a standstill.

ZTl.: Bregenz Festival lure to Lake Constance

The Bregenz Festival will take place until August 17th. The feeders to the festival area are the Rhine Valley Autobahn (A14) in the area Pfänder and City Tunnel in Bregenz, Vorarlberger Straße (L190) from Lochau to Bregenz and Schweizer Straße (L202) from the St. Margrethen-Höchst border crossing via Hard to Bregenz. The ÖAMTC advises you to travel by public transport. The festival tickets are considered a ticket for public transport.
