The LINKS party will show Katharina Mückstein’s film “Feminism WTF” in front of parliament on Saturday, September 21st. Before the screening from 7:30 p.m., Mückstein will discuss with Anna Svec and Angelika Adensamer. In addition, the feminist beer “Muskkraft” is served.
The event begins with a panel discussion between the LINKS candidates on the KPÖ list Anna Svec, who is running in 5th place on the KPÖ federal list, and Angelika Adensamer, in 2nd place on the Vienna list, with Katharina Mückstein, who is running with her film “Feminism WTF “caused a sensation in Austrian cinemas in 2023. The three discuss the feminist politics of LINKS and the need for a feminist opposition in the National Council.
Shortly after sunset, the film screening of Katharina Mückstein’s film “Feminism WTF” starts – as the first open-air cinema directly in front of Parliament. In a cooperation with the feminist beer brand “Muschikraft”, the special edition “ANGELIKA” (5.2% – also the election target of LINKS) and ANNA (alcohol-free) are served as free beer. The Schamkraft motto “Feminism is all of our beer” is read as a political mandate. Schamkraft donates 10 cents to the Austrian women’s shelters for every bottle sold. LINKS joins in with a donation of 500 euros. Thanks to the cooperation with the Cycle Cinema Club, the electricity for the projection is 100% produced by bicycles.
